nsPFA™
Soft Tissue Nodule Ablation Procedure
Cell-Targeting Technology to Clear Unwanted Soft Tissue Nodules.

Benefits of the nsPFA™ Ablation Procedure
How Does nsPFA™ Technology Work?

Nonthermal Nanosecond Pulsed Field Ablation (nsPFA™) technology delivers nanosecond (billionth of a second) duration pulses of electrical energy

High speed nanosecond energy pulses penetrate the cell membrane and disrupt internal cellular function, stimulating natural cellular removal

Unlike thermal (heat/cold) modalities, nsPFA™ pulses directly affects cellular structures while preserving noncellular tissue including skin, vessels, and nerves
Targeted
nsPFA™ technology only affects cellular soft tissue, like nodules, increasing safety around other critical structures like nerves, vessels, and skin.
Fast
Delivers quick results with majority of ablation effect occurring within first two weeks through natural removal of ablated cells.
Natural Healing
nsPFA™ technology stimulates a rapid, natural process for clearing unwanted cellular tissue without the need for open surgery and without causing immediate necrosis caused by thermal ablation.
What to Expect During Your Procedure
- 1. Consultation: You will meet with your doctor to discuss if the nsPFA™ procedure is right for you.
- 2. Preparation: The area around your tumor will be prepared and local anesthesia may be administered to numb the area.
- 3. Procedure: Using the nsPFA™ system, your doctor will apply nsPFA™ energy to the soft tissue nodule with a minimally invasive technique, guided by ultrasound, which usually takes only a few minutes.
- 4. Post Procedure: You can go home immediately after the procedure and resume most activities.
After Your Procedure
After a nsPFA™ ablation procedure, most patients experience minimal side effects, such as temporary redness or swelling. These typically resolve quickly, enabling you to resume your daily activities without a lengthy or uncomfortable recovery.
